Lise de la Salle

" Lise de la Salle attracts everyone's attention with her unconditional will to respect the text as well as the central theme of the music she interprets, and yet is constantly searching for answers to the questions that move her:
“Will my audience be moved, enraptured, touched? Will they forget where they are? Will they want to laugh or cry?”
Concentration and flawless technique characterize her powerful and subtle performance and are at the service of a persuasive power that is always carefully controlled. De la Salle is the embodiment of music par excellence, her musical vision never leaves you indifferent. She leaves nothing to chance and knows like no other how to work out a rich, balanced program (whether for a concert or a recording) in order to create that one, very special atmosphere.
In her Innsbruck recital, De la Salle combines the program of her second album, to be released in spring 2025, dedicated exclusively to the music of Franz Liszt with works by Frédéric Chopin. These are two of his ballads: the first in G minor, which - according to Robert Schumann - is based on the verse epic “Conrad Wallenrod” by the Polish national poet Adam Mickiewicz, and the fourth in F minor, which is said to be based on the poem “The Three Budrisse” by the same poet.
Lise de la Salle - her Chopin is thoughtful and sombre, her Liszt dark and visionary, but above all: absolutely worth listening to!"
