A song to sing about the past - the history of the Tyrolean Chorwe

Invitation to the presentation of the interim report! Since 2021, Mag.a Andrea Sommerauer and Dr. Reinhard Bodner, supported by AO. Prof. Dr. Thomas Nussbaumer (Institute for Folk Culture and Cultural Development), have been investigating the history of Tyrolean choral singing in the first half of the 20th century in Tyrol from a contemporary historical, musicological and ethnological perspective under the title Von der Vergangenheit ein Lied singen können, Chorgesang in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts in Tirol. The history of the Chorverband Tirol (formerly the Tiroler Sängerbund) plays a central role in this.
