Solo adventure across the Pyrenees: wild, beautiful, merciless

"Wild, beautiful, merciless - on foot across the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic"
With a rucksack packed with all the essentials, the Haute Route Pyrénéenne often takes you through the wilderness, from east to west, along the French-Spanish border. Orientation difficulties, cultural differences, language barriers, beautiful landscapes, sharp changes in the weather and encounters with wild animals were the order of the day.
Lara, who some already know from her Austria presentation ("When I see the lake, I don't need the sea anymore" - From Lake Neusiedl to Lake Constance), hiked from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic in the summer of 2023.
