Snow Rugby

The Snow Rugby tournament on the Patscherkofel, which has been taking place for many years, is the biggest rugby tournament in Austria. Ten men's and ten women's teams compete for the prestigious title. The teams are from Austria, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain. More than 200 players will take part.

Snow Rugby uses the laws of Rugby, adapted to the special characteristics of Snow Rugby; each team consists of five people and is played right next to the top station of the Patscherkofel cable car.
Time: 9.00 am - 3.30 pm | Free admission to the event
Spectators receive a discounted rate for the ascent and descent with the Patscherkofel cable car:
€ 20.50 adult | € 19.00 senior | € 18.00 youth | € 11.50 child

In addition, on the Friday evening before the tournament and on Saturday evening there will be parties at Café Bar Plateau, Viaduktbogen 51.
