Panel discussion: Spatial planning without land regulation?

Land is a non-substitutable resource and is particularly scarce in the Alpine region. This makes it all the more important to find economically and ecologically sensible solutions for spatial planning. Together with ATP architekten ingenieure, the Swiss Embassy in Austria is organizing a panel discussion with representatives from science, politics and administration on the topic of "Spatial planning without land planning?". The panel will include:
- Robert Ortner, Head of the Spatial Planning and Statistics Department of the Province of Tyrol
- Stephan Reiss-Schmidt, former city director and co-initiator for a social land law, Munich
- Maarit Felicitas Ströbele, landscape editor at Hochparterre
- Samuel Kissling, Head of Legal Affairs at EspaceSuisse
The discussion will be moderated by Christoph M. Achammer, CEO ATP architekten ingenieure, professor emeritus at TU Vienna, Swiss Honorary Consul
Participation is free of charge, registration until May 6, 2024 at christine.tusch@atp.ag
This panel discussion is part of the event series "Focus Switzerland-Tyrol: Sustainable Alpine Region", which will take place in Innsbruck from May 13, 2024. The Swiss Embassy in Austria is looking forward to welcoming you to the public and free events.
