The new piece by one of Morocco's most important choreographers is the beginning of a trilogy. Inspired by the rituals of the Moroccan Hmadcha brotherhood, it combines tradition and contemporary dance, rhythm and movement. Hmadcha is not just a title, but also the 400-year-old Sufi community, whose ceremonies are characterised by music, poetry and rhythm and lead to a collective trance.
