Nordkette Wetterleuchten Festival
From 13 - 14 July 2024, it will once again be time for Tyrolean festival fans to make the mountains high above the rooftops of Innsbruck unsafe. The occasion is the "Nordkette Wetterleuchten Festival" - the highest festival in Europe, which, as in previous years, will take place on Innsbruck's Nordkette mountain range. The aim of this unique festival at 2000 metres is a successful mixture of music, nature and campfire romance. Camping is encouraged! The cable car runs until 3:00 in the morning. The Wetterleuchten Festival will take place for the 21st time in 2024.
The fairy tale of the Wetterleuchten
Once upon a time, not so long ago, someone had an idea: listening to concerts and DJs with friends in a fantastic mountain setting, camping, partying, making campfires, having fun, chilling out, enjoying a fantastic view and much more. This person really liked all of these things and wanted to combine them all. He thought about a solution for a very long time. The result was the world's only festival at 2000 metres above sea level. It brings together young and young-at-heart people who enjoy electronic music, like nature and want to enjoy a fantastic place. He then invited all his friends and celebrated with them every year and, if they haven't died, they still party on the Seegrube near Innsbruck in summer!
