In the 19th century, the Strauss fever hardly stopped at anyone - Johann Strauss (father) and his sons Johann, Josef and Eduard were real "pop stars" in their day. They regularly thrilled the masses with their dance music. 2025 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss (son) - all the more reason to celebrate him properly!

The TSOI will seduce you in the New Year's Concert with the most beautiful waltzes, polkas and marches by Johann Strauss to glide into the anniversary year, including the overture to Die Fledermaus, the Champagne Polka, the Spring Voices Waltz and even Cinderella will not be missing. The anniversary celebration will be garnished by the surprisingly fine and virtuoso sounds of the tuba.

The colorful musical bouquet will be brought to life by the versatile entertainer and award-winning tuba player Andreas Martin Hofmeir and the Viennese conductor and Johann Strauss expert Martin Sieghart.
