Music is an art of the moment, the unrepeatable, an experience of the unique—not only, but unquestionably, in Christian liturgy as well. Music is an indispensable part of worship services. Its origins lie in engagement with the word of God and serve a distinct purpose. In Innsbruck and Tyrol, music holds a significant place in worship. In line with this esteemed tradition, the Innsbrucker Festwochen 2024 invite three times to «Musik im Gottesdienst,» hosted in the most beautiful sacred spaces of the region: the Jesuit Church, the Wilten Abbey Church, and the Stams Abbey Church.
