Martin Yavryan & Uniorchester Innsbruck

The Innsbruck University Orchestra once again invites you to its end-of-semester concert. Leonard Bernstein's Overture to Candide gets things off to a bombastic start, followed by the violin concerto by the young Tyrolean composer Martin Anton Schmid. The orchestra is particularly pleased to be able to premiere this work together with violinist Martin Yavryan. Two arias (Stravinsky's "Anne's Aria" from "Rake's Progress" and Dvořák's "Song to the Moon" from "Rusalka"), sung by Maria Erlacher, continue in a lyrical vein before Johannes Brahms' magnificent 4th Symphony is heard at the end.
Enjoy this varied program with us on Saturday, 20 January 2024, at 8 pm at Congress Innsbruck.
