Letterpress Workshop

It's that time again: Paul Plunger packs his handdruckpresse into the trunk (or onto the trailer) and comes to us in the Weissraum. Together we indulge in "black art" and druck analog with lead and wooden letters. Typography in its original form!
In hand typesetting, typeface images are created according to our own designs and implemented in multicolordruck on a handdruck press on the appropriate paper. In analog work - often more than in digital - a feeling for the "composition" of graphic elements, type and white space (yes, that's what it's called!) develops. We get involved in the workflow, mix our own colors and produce cards, pictures, messages, joy and Italian café.
