Kayak festival Innsbruck

The KNI kayak club is organising the Innsbruck Kayak Festival at the mouth of the Sill in Innsbruck on Saturday, 15 June and cordially invites young and old, kayakers and those who might want to become kayakers, as well as all non-kayakers. KNI chairman Valentino Dax: "Come along and experience a day full of action, fun and good entertainment!" The festival starts at 2 pm with a kayak race on the Sill from the Olympic Bridge to the festival site at the mouth of the Sill. From 3 pm, the children's programme at the canoe centre (General-Eccher-Straße 1) will allow the youngest to try out and experience what it feels like to sit in a kayak, why the paddlers always carry such a long rope with them and much more. For those who prefer to watch others get wet: At 4 pm, the cracks compete in a rolling competition in the pool on the festival grounds. And from 18:30, a live band will provide entertainment. Catering will be provided from 2 pm.
