With reference to the Conference of the Absent and the Conference of Animals, the first issue of the 24/25 season is dedicated to the possibilities and difficulties of the search for decision-making in a divided society. The format of the conference will be questioned and possibilities for constructively uniting divergent interests and points of view will be demonstrated.
The discussion will be supplemented by artistic contributions and personal experience reports from both productions.

Guests include Philippe Narval, who has been Secretary General of Lebenshilfe Austria for the past year and was previously Secretary General of the European Forum Alpbach and founding director of the university experimental field SQUARE at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) for nine years. As a lecturer, columnist and author of The Friendly Revolution, he regularly addresses issues relating to participation, inclusion and transformation. Ingrid Felipe, long-time deputy governor and former state councillor for mobility, will be joining him for the discussion. She has negotiated on such complex issues as European transit traffic. As a board member of the Deutsche Bahn subsidiary InfraGo, she has been jointly responsible for major projects such as the Stuttgart 21 railroad junction and the Brenner northern approach since the beginning of 2023.
