Bandleader and jazz piano composer Stephan Costa writes about this project: "With the newly formed Stephan Costa Jazz-X-tet, I am taking on the challenge of placing my compositions in a larger band context. The fact that I am able to tackle this undertaking with the greatest musicians is a great stroke of luck for me and I am really looking forward to this exciting musical journey. Naturally, we will give a lot of space to improvisation and the moment, so that the fun and joy will be great."
