Spring festival ‘The mountain is calling ’In 2025, the Innsbruck Botanical Garden will be all about (bio)diversity! With our seasonal festivals, we celebrate the diversity of nature throughout the year. We start with a fresh highlight: our spring festival on 25 April. Together we will welcome the awakening of nature from hibernation and dedicate ourselves to the fascinating mountain habitat. A colourful programme with numerous workshops and hands-on stations awaits you from 2 pm to 6 pm. Visitors of all ages can playfully explore the diversity of the mountain world. Test your knowledge and win great prizes in the first Botanical Pub Quiz. At our swap market, you can discover new treasures and give old ones a new home. True to the motto ‘The mountain is calling’, everything from sportswear to hiking boots and maps is welcome. For safety reasons, we do not accept technical items such as ropes, carabiners or helmets! You will be catered for by Il Corvo and at the Botanical Garden's flower bar. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic. Because music is a must at a festival, we invite all visitors to bring (acoustic) instruments and make music together at our free jam sessions. We like all weathers. The festival will therefore also take place in the rain. We only have to cancel in the event of a storm for safety reasons and you can find all the latest information on Instagram and Facebook.
