Carnival at Ambras Castle Innsbruck

Even in the time of Archduke Ferdinand II, there was a colourful carnival atmosphere. Before Lent began, there was a lot of partying - we find out how on a tour of the Ambras Chamber of Art and Curiosities. Among other things, we will discover the stories behind the XXL playing cards with monkey motifs as well as the joke vessels and the Ambras jester's plate.

Dates: Rose Monday, 03/03/2025, and Shrove Tuesday, 04/03/2025, both at 2.30 pm. Price: EUR 6 per person plus admission (children and young people under the age of 19 have free admission and only pay the tour price).
