FAMILY CONCERT : Ma[i]tinée

The outstanding soloist at this year's Ma[i]tinée of the Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra InnStrumenti will not be an individual, but the chamber orchestra's wind ensemble, which will perform absolute masterpieces of wind music. Under the direction of Gerhard Sammer, the overture to The Abduction from the Seraglio by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Suite, op. 4 in B flat major by Richard Strauss and the Wind Serenade in D minor, op. 44 by Antonín Dvořák will be performed. Following the success of recent years, InnStrumenti is once again organising a lively one-hour family concert on the day before the concert day, especially for families with 6 to 10-year-old children and their companions, under the motto ‘Take a breath’. The orchestra performs under the direction and moderation of Gerhard Sammer. The audience will gain interesting insights into the musical world of the orchestra, its wide range of instruments and will also be actively involved in the music of Mozart, Strauss and Dvořák.
