Canta Navidad: rythmic choir music

If everything seems somehow ‘Spanish’ when you attend a concert on the 3rd weekend of Advent, then you are absolutely right! On Saturday, 14 December at 7 pm and Sunday, 15 December at 5 pm, choirmaster Thorsten Weber and his two choirs will take the audience in the OEZ-Christuskirche into the Advent-Christmas world of Latin America. Together with the choir of the Christuskirche and the chamber choir Pars pro toto, the Christmas cantata Canta Navidad by Jean Kleeb will be performed in Spanish, Portuguese and indigenous languages with many ‘catchy tunes’ from Latin America. The choirs will be accompanied by the Brazilian arranger Jean Kleeb himself on piano and Claudio Wiesflecker on percussion and are looking forward to a large audience.
