Broom Company VOLUME 1

With Volume I, Eva Müller, Peter Brandlmayr and Martin Brandlmayr are breaking new ground as the Broom Company trio. This company is a trans- and interdisciplinary band project in which contemporary dance, electronic music, percussion, performance and an installation are interwoven. The source of inspiration and driving force is James Joyce's Finnegans Wake: a play between becoming and passing away, being and non-being, chaos and order. The scenic songs in the performance are designed for associative density, inviting the audience to lean back, relax and even immerse themselves in what is on offer. There is no stringent story told, but rather a multitude of interwoven, loosely linked individual stories or scenes - similar to a dream.
