On Whit Saturday - June 7th - the world elite in pole vault and long jump will once again meet in Innsbruck's magnificent mile, Maria-Theresien-Straße!
And they have a mission: to collect important world ranking points to qualify for the World Championships in Tokyo (September 13th-21st) on the WA-certified, largest mobile athletics facility in the world, "The FlySwat™", close to the audience.
In the middle of the spectacular aerial battle this time a newly crowned vice world champion from Innsbruck: Magdalena Rauter sensationally secured the vice world championship title in pole vault in Lima in 2024 and will be up close and personal with the world elite in the challenge! Local hero Riccardo Klotz is also aiming for new heights.
The cult event in Innsbruck is once again being honoured as a World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger, and as the traditional “home base” of the Golden Fly Series, it is also the epicentre of the in-city athletics scene.
