Tiroler Kammerorchester Innstrumenti
This world premiere concert will take place for the 23rd time, focusing on Tyrolean composers celebrating a special birthday in 2024. The concert evening features five exciting world premieres of orchestral works under the motto of renewable energies and sheds light on the multifaceted topic from a musical perspective, with a positive view of the future and critical discourse. The programme opens with the world premiere of the work Azure: The Five Elements by composer Ivana Radovanovic, who was awarded the Hilde Zach Scholarship by the City of Innsbruck. With Re-Cycle II for small orchestra, Martin Lichtfuss commits himself compositionally to aesthetic sustainability based on the aspect of ecological energy production. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, Gunter Schneider himself will be active as a soloist on the guitar in his commissioned composition recycling structures, together with percussion soloist Charlie Fischer. Salome's energetic dance with the seven veils is at the centre of Salome in der Unterwelt (Salome in the Underworld) by the South Tyrolean 80th anniversary composer Hubert Stuppner. Finally, guitarist Philipp Ossanna explores the phenomenon of melting glaciers in his world premiere State of Matter, in which he himself can be heard on the electric guitar, visually complemented by a video installation. The eagerly awaited premieres will be professionally recorded in an accompanying CD production in co-operation with the publisher Helbling.
