Dance solo "What if..."

"Terra arrasada - Burnt Earth" is a transdisciplinary performance in which the newly formed duo of choreographer/performer Clarissa Rêgo (BR/PT) and musician/sound artist Thilo Seevers (AT/DE) explore the destructive nature of Western societies.
Inspired by non-occidental perspectives such as those of the indigenous population in the Amazon region, the artists question the motivation of social resistance to abandoning destructive cultural practices and explore new solutions to ecological and social challenges and their implementation in inspiring, performative elements.
Through interactive exchange with the community and presentations, a dialog-oriented process for joint progress is to be stimulated. The performance is not aimed at a finished art product, but at gaining global knowledge.
