TRISTAN UND ISOLDE

The opera "Tristan und Isolde" in the new production by Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson and under the musical direction of Semyon Bychkov will be broadcast live in the cinema on 25 July 2024 from 16:00. As the 2024 cinema broadcast will take place live during the performance in the Festspielhaus, the two one-hour breaks typical of Bayreuth will also be observed during the cinema broadcast. The Bayreuth Festival is one of the best-known and most renowned festivals in the world. Every year, around 60,000 visitors from all over the world come to Bayreuth to experience the performances. The demand for tickets has exceeded the available supply for decades, resulting in waiting times of several years in some cases.
