#LiteratureMeetsLibrary. When writers write library

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Historical Reading Room will be transformed into a meeting place for literature, knowledge and creative debate at 5 pm. The focus is on the question of how libraries act as a source of inspiration and a setting for literature.
6 Tyrolean authors will give an insight into their personal relationships with libraries and read from works they have written as part of a literary competition in cooperation with IG AutorinnenAutoren Tirol.
Look forward to an inspiring evening full of stories and conversations about the magic of books and libraries with:
Markus Köhle
Christian Kössler
Günni Noggler
Wolfgang Nöckler
Dominik Unterthiner
Katja Wilhelm
Welcome: Eva Ramminger, Head of the University and Provincial Library Tyrol
Leading through the evening: Siljarosa Schletterer, BA (IG AutorinnenAutoren Tirol), Prof. Dr. Michael Pilz (Institute of German Studies, University of Innsbruck) and Monika Schneider-Jakob, MAS (University and Provincial Library Tyrol) Mag.
Afterwards we invite you to a small drink. Admission is free.
