ART IN TIROL 1920-2020

The art gallery Mathias Mayr [M1] is delighted to be able to present a museum compilation of Tyrolean art from the last 100 years in this year's winter exhibition. The selection includes more than 50 artists and important positions from the period between 1920 and 2020, starting with formative representatives of Tyrolean Modernism, through the intermediate generation, which was strongly influenced by it, to selected contemporary artists, the exhibition provides an excellent overview of the diverse and high-quality Tyrolean art landscape. All the works come from long-standing private collections and offer a special opportunity in this compilation - conceived as a sales exhibition. The group show, some of which is presented in typical period salon hangings, includes art in various techniques and formats, surprising oeuvres and works by artists who are otherwise rarely offered on the art market.
