Klettersteig Testival 2024

As part of the XHOW initiative, which is dedicated to the topic of alpine dangers and educating mountain sports enthusiasts in both winter and summer, CLIMBHOW has been organising the Innsbruck via ferrata testival for five years now. This year, the event will last two days for the first time and offer all those interested in via ferrata the perfect setting for getting started in the sport and for training on 7 and 8 September 2024. Free workshops with state-certified mountain guides will be held on the Nordkette to learn and practise via ferrata techniques. You can also find out how to approach the via ferrata adventure with children and what to do in an emergency. Alpine doctors and mountain rescuers provide valuable tips for first aid on the rock. Professionals will be on hand to answer questions about equipment at the information and test centre.
