Imagination und Augenschein - exhibition

The INN SITU Gallery in the BTV Stadtforum Innsbruck is presenting a new, extraordinary exhibition from March 19th to July 12th, 2025 which blurs the boundaries between photography, literature and reality.
On display are, among other things, numerous previously unpublished works by the renowned Austrian photographer Gerti Deutsch, who fled the National Socialists to England and established herself as a successful photojournalist. Under the title IMAGINATION UND AUGENSCHEIN, the photographer's works meet the poetic descriptions of writer Ilija Trojanow. An exhibition that allows visitors to immerse themselves in a fascinating world where past and present merge.
