HAGIOS: Sung prayer (recital)

An evening of songs to pause, sing along and recharge your batteries. With Helge Burggrabe and Christof Fankhauser (piano). The HAGIOS concert is a sing-along project that ranges from contemplative silence to powerful, polyphonic singing. All you need is your own voice and the anticipation of the experience of transforming the Christuskirche in Innsbruck into a large sound space together with many other people. Quickly learnt spiritual canons and peace songs from the HAGIOS song cycle will be sung, which continues the old, powerful singing tradition of monasteries and communities such as Taizé in a new way that triggers great resonance. An evening that can give strength and strengthen inner peace, without which no outer peace will be possible.
