5RHYTHMS - Free dance and movement meditation

Experience a unique movement practice that was developed by Gabrielle Roth and inspires people all over the world. Let the music guide you and find your own way of expressing yourself. The 5Rhythms® are a dynamic movement meditation. They are based on the idea that life and movement can be categorised into five basic rhythms: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. Each of these rhythms represents a certain quality in our movements and in life and invites us to experience a deeper connection to ourselves and to others through movement and dance. Come to our 5Rhythms® Sweat and dance yourself free! We, Lucia and Manuel, are aspiring 5Rhythms teachers under the mentorship of Hannah Loewenthal. We both have a passion for movement and people and bring a wide range of experience with us. Lucia studied psychology and worked as a therapist, Manuel has experience in teaching and working with children. We are also yoga teachers and love to get people moving. We look forward to meeting you!

What you can expect:

• A warm-up to prepare you for the journey (approx. 20 min)
• A short, introductory demonstration of the 5Rhythms (approx. 5 min)
• A free and ecstatic 5Rhythms wave (approx. 1h)
• Joint farewell and return to the world outside the dance (approx. 5min)
• Included & optional: Tea & snacks afterwards!

Costs: 20€ normal price, 25€ sponsorship price to compensate for discounts & support; 18€ members of Verein Tanzraum Innsbruck, 15€ social price
