Folk & Aperitif

Under the motto Folk & Apéro, young artists from the Tyrolean State Conservatory present a varied folk music program in the Small Hall. From soloists to mixed ensembles, all listeners will find something to their taste.

This time's guests: the group Saitenziacher from the Tyrolean Oberland and the ensemble Weazeithot from the Tyrolean State Conservatory. The name "Saitenziacher" stands for the group's instrumentation, consisting of many strings (hammered dulcimer and harp) and a Styrian accordion. We, the siblings Daniel and Anna Schweigl, have been making music together with our cousin Sarah Krug for many years. So it's not just family that unites us, but also a passion for folk music and the memory of many funny moments and beautiful gimmicks. We organize masses, weddings, christenings, various celebrations, vernissages, readings and much more.

Together, these two groups will present folk music from Tyrol and the rest of the world!
