Peter Demartin / Manfred Egger / Michael Hedwig Printmaking is also back at Galerie Kooio this year! The Kooio Gallery in particular endeavours to be more democratic and more broadly based in its art education than others. Art genres and artists change there again and again in rapid succession. Regional, international, well-known, completely new, women's art, thematic art, a wide variety of techniques - everything finds a place and support in the Kooio Gallery. This time: three artists, three printmakers, with a national and international presence, meet for an exchange, artistically and personally. Peter Demartin from Kematen, Manfred Egger from Hall and Michael Hedwig from East Tyrol/Vienna exhibit together, not least to raise the profile of printmaking in the public's perception. Three excellent technicians, three outstanding artists are showing a wide range of graphic works: Woodcuts, wood prints, etchings, lithographs, artists' books. A tour through different worlds and different approaches. Abstract and figurative. Classic printing techniques and mixed forms. Visitors are invited on a short tour through the world of printmaking. Just a few square metres, but nevertheless a walk through a diverse artistic world, through many dimensions of artistic expression.
