The architecture of the Landhaus

Guided tour with Hilde Strobl (curator) on the history of the architecture and development of the Landhaus and on Nazi architecture: The new "Gauhaus" was to meet the extensive space requirements of the Nazi apparatus and represent the Gau Tirol-Vorarlberg. The architects Guth submitted a design to the initiated competition that reflected the "idea of the soaring eagle" and prototypically corresponded to the canon of Nazi architecture.
