The Nutcracker is the last and most successful work by composer Peter Tchaikovsky. The plot of the ballet is based on the fantastic story by the German Romantic composer E.T.A. Hoffmann, ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’. The story of a young girl who receives a nutcracker as a gift and dreams that it will turn into a fairytale prince fascinates young and old around the world. For a few hours, you are whisked away from everyday life into a romantic and imaginative world of dreams and longings. When the guests have said goodbye on Christmas Eve, Klara goes back to her presents. She falls asleep there. At midnight, the nutcrackers and dolls come to life and Klara suddenly finds herself in the centre of a magical world. Snowflakes and dancing flowers accompany the girl on her journey to the realm of the beautiful sugar fairy. A magical Christmas fairy tale that delights ballet fans of all ages at every performance. UNITED EUROPEAN BALLET This ballet company consists of 50 professional dancers who hold diplomas from the most prestigious institutions, choreographic schools from different countries. The UNITED EUROPEAN BALLET offers an impressive presentation of the famous classical ballet ‘The Nutcracker’.
