Roland Appelmann lives for his hobby: model railroads on a scale of H0, 1:87. The small artificial world that he has created over many years almost becomes a substitute for the real world, which increasingly frustrates him. The planned lecture evening quickly gets out of hand. Roland deviates from the original topic and gives an insight into his not always healthy inner thoughts. In the process, truly bizarre conspiracy theories and highly questionable social and political views unfold.
