In any case, the artefacts must be well guarded. But the custodians also have their own individual stories and so the museum staff are also artefacts. The museum director, Mrs Sedlnitzky, runs a tight ship and dreams of the perfect museum. In the midst of her mediocrity, she tries to elevate herself through malice and manipulation. She endeavours to reorganise the museum according to her own ideas. However, she has not reckoned with the employees, who are driven to the point where they have to decide whether they want to take their lives into their own hands or continue to persevere in their rigid situation.
