The other Austria - A picture presentation by Wolfgang Heitzmann

The new book by our club member Wolfgang Heitzmann will be published in November: the hiking photo book "The other Austria".
He presents the most beautiful hiking destinations featured in the book in his new lecture. Wild landscapes, ancient paths and mysterious places between Burgenland and Lake Constance come to life on the screen - for example, extinct fire mountains and fossilized coral reefs, Roman "highways" across the Hohe Tauern and many a riddle left to us by people from ancient times. His tours to strange glaciers and to the traces of the "Little Ice Age", which had an astonishing impact on the history of our country, are particularly exciting.
Susanne Kühndl blends his pictures and stories with melodies that touch the heart. At the end, of course, there is time for a chat and a glass of wine ... the cozy conclusion to a very special evening.
