Carrillon Cathedral of St. James

A special highlight of Innsbruck's organ landscape is the Peace Carillon in Innsbruck's St. Jacob's Cathedral during Advent. It is the first four-octave carillon in Austria. A carillon is called a carillon if it consists of at least 23 bronze bells, i.e. a range of at least 2 octaves. The Innsbruck Peace Carillon comprises 48 bells with a range of 4 octaves.
