Bachkantaten - concert, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik

For decades, they have been one of the international standard bearers of Bach interpretation: the Bach Collegium Japan under the direction of Masaaki Suzuki. Their goal is to carry the music of the Leipzig Thomaskantor from its time of creation through the past and present into the future, conveying and translating it to the audiences of today.
With their worldwide tour project "The 300th Anniversary Project of Choral Cantatas", the Japanese Bach enthusiasts are also honouring the Innsbrucker Festwochen. The programme perfectly fits the fundamental questions shaping the Innsbrucker Festwochen: "Where do we come from? Where are we going?".
