AUF DER SUCHE NACH

The title of the exhibition ‘IN SEARCH OF’ is inspired by the book ‘À LA RECHERCHE DU TEMPS PERDU’ by Marcel Proust. In this novel, Marcel Proust deals with his own past but also with the past of an epoch, the end of the century ‘le fin de siècle’. But while Marcel Proust looks back to what was, the women in our exhibition look forward to what is and what is to come. Each woman embarks on her own search.
