City run

The 40th Innsbruck City Run powered by Tiroler Tageszeitung will take place on May 25, 2025, starting at 9:30 a.m. with the start and finish at the Landestheater forecourt.
It feels good, runs throughout the day and throughout all competitions. After the opening ceremony and the warm-up program with Happy Fitness trainers, the runners will compete in the 10 km Sparkassen Main Run, the 5 km IKB Fun Run, or four 2.5 km relay races through the city center.
The start is at 10:00 a.m. on Europaratsallee, heading west (city center). Two laps must be completed for the Sparkassen Main Run and the relay race, and one lap for the IKB Fun Run.
The first lap is 5.9 km long.
Family, children's, and school runs, which are fundraising runs for clean drinking water, will begin at 1:00 p.m., after the awards ceremony.
An 800-meter circuit in the English Garden, with a start and finish in front of the Tyrolean State Theater.
The 40th edition of the Innsbruck City Run will be accompanied by a varied supporting program. The athletic component will be organized by the Innsbruck Gymnastics Association and the Tyrolean Sport Union in the "Bewegungsstraße" (Movement Street) in front of the fountain and the State Theater.
